Yu Rui has served JD for over fifteen years and has held important positions at JD Digital Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JD Digital Technology") and JD Logistics, known as the second of JD's "three carriages".
According to the public data, Yu Rui joined JD as a trainee in 2008. Starting from front-line warehousing and distribution, he has been promoted all the way. He has successively served as the head of JD Logistics in Central China and East China, CEO of Store 1, Chief human resources officer of JD.com and other key positions.
In July 2014, Yu Rui, then 32 years old, was promoted to vice president of JD.com, becoming the youngest vice president of Jingdong. In February 2020, Yu Rui took over from Liu Qiangdong as the chairman of Jingdong Digital Science. At the end of the year, Yu Rui took over again from the former CEO of JD Logistics, Wang Zhenhui.
